The Siding Replacement Process

You have finally decided to re-side your home. Now, you need to find the best way to do it.
1. The best way to do the job is to remove the original problem. Your old siding may need to be completely removed, which allows for the new James Hardie® siding to be installed as if it were the original exterior.
Siidng Installation Process - step 1

2. Before the new exterior is applied, the existing structure of your home should be inspected for moisture damage, termites and rot.
Siidng Installation Process - step 2

3. A weather-resistive barrier should be applied to create an extra layer of moisture and wind protection.
Siidng Installation Process - step 3

4. James Hardie siding is installed similarly to wood siding. For more information on how to properly install James Hardie Siding, please see our installation instructions.
